About Deadman's Hill Lay By

Deadman's Hill lay by is an infamous spot, much frequented by truck drivers. Katie's mobile cafe serves hungry truckers and woodland visitors most weekdays. The lay by is potholed and muddy, but gives quick and easy access to one of Bedfordshire's countryside jewels, Maulden Wood. Trails and hard rides radiate out from the gateway in the lay by.

How to get there:

Deadman's Hill Lay By is in Maulden Wood which is part of Ampthill Forest. Clophill is the nearest town or village.

The lay by is accessed from the north bound carriageway on the A6, 1 mile from Clophill
