Fifty Acre Wood

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

This wood is home to the 11km long Timberland Cycle Trail which also passes through the Ashton Court Estate. The trail is in two sections. By following the pink markers riders can expect a narrow and winding unsurfaced single track, less than 1 metre wide, which sometimes becomes muddy. The yellow markers take you from Fifty Acre wood into Ashton Court Estate on a mainly narrow single track with roots and some rocks. This is fairly level but with one or two steeper sections, again it can be muddy after wet weather.

How to get there:

Fifty Acre Wood is in Bristol Woodlands.
Fifty Acre Wood lies 2 miles west of Bristol off the A369, south of Abbots Leigh.
