Great place for the whole family but parking is expensive ■8.50! Friston Forest is only ■3.50 for the whole day! and has more challenging MTB trails for the more experienced.

Went for the first time after finding it on the internet. A truly hidden gem that I recommend highly. The bike trail was great fun and I will be back to try it again.

Came to Bedgebury Forest to have a go on your red route singletrack and it was amazing, very challenging really encourages you to ride at your best because of the quality of the trails and the many sections each ride very differently which means you never get a chance to settledown into a pace. What makes its nicer is its not just a downhill track its a XC track with short uphills that are very challenging and jumps that give you the same buzz without needing body armour or dedicated full suspension bike.

Bedgebury is a great value for money day out for the family. Where else can the family go for ■8.50? We loved the National Pinetum, the excellent play areas and all the miles of cycle trails. Excellent

I am trying to contact those involved with your dormice project. My father near Staplehurst used to have dormice and we are putting up boxes and would like some advice. A contact number please.

We had a great evening seeing Will Young, it's just a shame that it took us longer than he was on stage to leave!! Great place I don't think I'd come back to see another concert here just for that reason! It was bedlam.

Hello, we'd like to bring a group of about 10 children, aged between 9 and 12 to Bedgebury having heard about it from friends who went cycling there, but do you have any walking trails that we can do with them as we don't want to cycle. If so, how long do they take to do roughly and can we get a copy before we arrive? Look forward to hearing back from you so that I can plan our day. Thank you in advance. Angie

■8-50 divided by one..not good. Expensive for seeing a lot of trees which one can see everyday for free.

I LOVE Bedgebury Forest! I think the new car parking system is great. I no longer need to remember to put my pass on the windscreen which is very handy. The cycle tracks are fantastic. Every path is marked and it is easy to find where you are. I think I will be hard pushed to find a decent cycle track like this that is worth driving to. Oh and the carrot cake is the best ever!

We had the most amazing time at Bedgebury. The whole family had a brilliant time. We will come again and again. Wonderful! Not at all expensive, ■8.50 divided by five...not bad!

Enjoyed the day overall- car parking expensive however and the system for paying awful. The worst thing was the lack of coherent signs throughout the cycling path network- we got lost at nearly every t junction or turn. The map was close to useless too.

Have always found the cafe friendly but felt there was a lack of choice. Went recently and was really impressed by the new menu and the variety and freshness of the food. The Carrot Cake was to die for! But what is a Moriarti coffee - the girl on duty wasn't sure!

We love coming to Bedgebury forest every year when on holiday in uk from deserty dubai. The playgrounds are really fantastic, giving something for everyone and bringing England in line with the more creative quality playgrounds I see in germany- well done. The fact that the children can collect sticks and make their own albeit simple structures in the forest next to the main playground is brilliant - something that hardly any children nowadays have the pleasure of experiencing. Freedom, creativity and fun ! We parents loved Go-Ape and do something different every year we come. I wonder whether you can have overnighting in the forest ? Listening to different sounds, spotting owls, bats and other nightlife ? Falling asleep to the croaking of toads ? No camp fires, but focusing on the surrounds and going for a trek.

Just been to the Electric Forest - what a fantastic evening - the Pinetum looked so beautiful ...we stopped for marshmallows half way round and then had a delicious great value meal at the cafe - definitely be back next year and will be signing up for Bedgebury membership really soon!

My family and I have had many wonderful trips to Bedge over the years. Watching it develop has kept our interest. The same goes for the facilities and I'm really suprised to see the negative comment about the cafe. For us it has always been a lively, fun place to be after a long walk or cycle. WeeKends make it a busy environment which adds to the feeling of activity and life. Food has always been good... We're certainly not a stick in the mud.

Had a wonderful day here recently. This place is beautiful no matter the season or weather. Kids kept amused by all the different and imaginitive play areas dotted around, great cafe with tasty food and friendly staff (loved the kids' tapas! Great idea!) and no noise, PlayStations, computers or TV(bliss!!!). Haven't yet plucked up the courage to "Go Ape" ... but I'm working on it ...

The pinetum is a wonderful collection, and a valuable resource. It makes a great day out, and with the forest for cycling and the children's play area it's got something for everyone. A day out for a car load of people for ■8 is great value, not so good when you're an individual but then it's still worth it. My only criticism is the cafe. I've been a visitor for many years, and in it's current form it's always been overpriced, unhygenic, unhelpful (not having card facilities when it's perfectly possible), and often completely disorganised. My advise, just take your own and enjoy it sitting by the lake in the pinetum.

I took a car load for ■8, which i think is pretty good value for a day out and I don't mind a contribution to the brilliantly maintained facilities and helpful staff. Will definitely go again.

Nearly turned the car around when I saw the car parking charges of ■8 but so glad I did not. My Husband and I and our two girls aged 5 and 6 had a brilliant day out and we did not even have bikes, which we are taking next time we go. Have already recommended it to my friends. If you are worried about cost of food do as we did and take a picnic, and a large cup of tea is only ■1 which I did not think was expensive.

For those who don't like the car park charges - get on your bike - after you've checked out the local free surrounding car parking by using Google Maps. Cheap and Easy!

Go ape was brilliant and Bedgebury forest was beautiful but resent paying ■8 to park when already paid ■30 per person to do Go Ape. Could you not arrange free parking for Go Ape participants?

Brilliant. ■8 for three people is a bargain, especially compared to some places. Trails are excellent and the benches every 100 - 200 yards perfect for those with limited mobility. To top it all, the place is absolutely beautiful and the staff helpful and friendly.
