Grizedale cycling map

Take a journey through our ancient oak woodlands on the lower slopes of the valley. A great place to hear forest bird life, especially if you are cycling early or late in the day.

Start from the Visitor Centre car park and follow the purple waymarkers.

staff can be grumpy but the setting more than makes up for it.

Went to Grizedale with high expectations. Being an experienced mountainbiker I thought the people would be helpfull in regards to me and my girlfriend in selecting kit, bikes and for the trail. We found the staff very unfriendly, not willing to help and the bike they recommended for my girlfriend was bout ten years old. I will not go back there again. Try Whinlatter instead!
