About Wonders of Whitestone

Take in the three dramatic viewpoints overlooking the dramatic Wye gorge and river and return through an attractive mix of woodlands.

How to get there:

Wonders of Whitestone can be started from Whitestone in Bargain Wood which is part of Wye Valley Forest area. Tintern Parva and Chepstow are the nearest towns or villages.

This wood is situated approximately 10 miles north of Chepstow and 12 miles south of Monmouth just off the A466. From the village of Tintern follow signs for Catbrook and Trellech at junction adjacent to the Wye Valley Hotel. Travel approx two and a half miles along this road to junction with Whitestone Car Park opposite. Follow forest road up to main car park and picnic site.
