Wern Walk

About Wern Walk

Follow this woodland trail past the ruins of Wern farm, revealing this area's agricultural past. Carry on through Larch woodlands to reach a forest road to bring you back to the centre with good views along the way.

How to get there:

Wern Walk can be started from Garwnant Visitor Centre in Coed Taf Fawr which is part of Brecon Beacons National Park Forests. Merthyr Tydfil is the nearest town or village.

Garwnant is situated just off the A470 5 miles north of Merthyr Tydfil. It is well sign posted from the A470.

It can be found on OS Landranger Map 160 and Outdoor Leisure 12.

Public Transport is provided by Stagecoach 0870 6082608. There is also a Beacons Bus Service which runs on Bank Holidays and Sundays throughout the summer -Tel. 01873 853254
