About Craig Forys

Craig Forys: After a climb through woodland, the route eases with Moel Siabod coming into view. A short diversion (signed) takes you to a fantastic viewpoint over the Snowdonia skyline (and great lunch spot!). It’s all downhill from here back to the car park.

  • Spectacular views of Snowdonia's mountains.
  • Access: There are no stiles on this trail.
  • Moderate circular walk. 
  • 200ft/60m initial climb. 
  • 1 hour 1.4m/2.3km. 

How to get there:

Craig Forys can be started from Cae'n y Coed in Gwydyr. Betws-y-Coed is the nearest town or village.

Directions:

On the A5 two miles west of Betws-y-Coed, just after Swallow Falls.
