About Abergorlech Forest Walk
This delightful trail follows the River Gorlech along forestry roads before crossing a small bridge on to a footpath and climbing up hill through mature mixed broad leaf and coniferous woodland.
The walk has both short and long distance routes, which are complemented by an ever-changing woodland environment. The picnic area at its start point is also the ideal place in which to leave your car.
How to get there:
Abergorlech Forest Walk can be started from Abergorlech Picnic Site in Brechfa. Abergorlech, Llandovery, Llandeilo, Brechfa, Llanybydder, Pumsaint, Llansawel, and Rhydcymerau are the nearest towns or villages.
Abergorlech is a small village located next to Brechfa Forest on the B4310 road. Follow the A482 between Lampeter and Llandovery until the turn off for Llansawel (B4302). Once in Llansawel follow signs for Abergorlech.
