About Lochan Spling
The path gently rises through mixed woodland into Loch Ard forest, arriving at the picturesque Lochan Spling.
From here, the path follows the loch shore, and there is a short detour to a viewpoint.
The path then completes the Lochan loop through conifer forest and heads back towards the car park.
How to get there:
Lochan Spling can be started from Aberfoyle Village Car Park in Loch Ard Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.
The car park is just off the main street running through Aberfoyle.
