About Hyndlee Hike

This hike can be started from any of the car parks in the forest.

It takes in many a view and is a good leg stretcher.

Caution - there is a section of singletrack that is shared with cyclists.

How to get there:

Hyndlee Hike can be started from Lower Cheviot in Hyndlee Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Hawick and Bonchester Bridge & Newcastleton are the nearest towns or villages.

From Hawick, head to Bonchester Bridge on the A6088. Turn right on to the B6357 south towards Newcastleton for approximately four miles, past Hell's Hole, Hyndlee forest entrance and Piet's Nest car park.

Lower Cheviot is on the left-hand side.
