About The Cauldron MTB Trail

Take a steady spin up the forest road that will bring you to the downhill section. Enjoy the swoopy singletrack and beware of the quarry!

Please note that the singletrack section of the Cauldron MTB trail is unsuitable for horses.

How to get there:

The Cauldron MTB Trail can be started from Hell's Hole in Hyndlee Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Hawick and Bonchester Bridge & Newcastleton are the nearest towns or villages.

From Hawick, head to Bonchester Bridge on the A6088. Turn right on to the B6357 south towards Newcastleton for approximately two miles.

Hells Hole is the first access point to Hyndlee and is on the right hand side.
