About The Icehouse Trail
Tree Thinning Operations in place
North east area of Tentsmuir Forest is currently being thinned, removing a proportion of the standing trees. For Health & Safety reasons public access is restricted in this area. This affects the Fife Coastal Path. Please see adjacent maps for affected area, trails and diversions. We hope to have this work complete and access restored by early April 2012. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. (Updated 16th April 2012)
From Kinshaldy, this walk takes you through pinewoods to a former icehouse, and World War Two fortifications.
Enjoy extensive views out over sand dunes to North Sea and St. Andrews.
