About Clauchlands Hill

The trail starts on a forest road across the public road from the car park. Turn left at the sign for the path across Clauchlands Hill.

For the chambered cairns of Dunan Mor and Dunan Beag continue on the forest road and turn right at the waymarker post with a white arrow.

There are wonderful views over the Firth of Clyde and towards Goatfell. The trail ends at Dun Fionn, an Iron Age hill fort.
