About Urie Loch Hill Trail

Follow the path through the forest before emerging onto the open hill and reaching the Urie Loch.

Marvellous views may be had of the moorland and countryside below and it is a good place for spotting a hunting hen harrier.

How to get there:

Urie Loch Hill Trail can be started from Dyemill Car Park in Dyemill which is part of Arran. Lamlash is the nearest town or village.

Take the A841 heading south from Lamlash. After one mile turn right at Monamore Bridge onto the minor road signposted Kilmory. The entrance is on the left-hand side, half a mile along the road.
