Lagaville

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Lagaville

These trails give several short loops of different lengths along burns with lovely waterfalls and small gorges.

You pass the remains of Lagaville which was abandoned in the late 18th century.

Further on you can sit beside the wildlife pond and watch the dragonflies and tadpoles.

How to get there:

Lagaville can be started from Dyemill Car Park in Dyemill which is part of Arran. Lamlash is the nearest town or village.

Take the A841 heading south from Lamlash. After one mile turn right at Monamore Bridge onto the minor road signposted Kilmory. The entrance is on the left-hand side, half a mile along the road.
