You stand a good chance of seeing hen harriers.

Access with care through old harvesting site.

How to get there:

Trail to Carn Barn Chambered Cairn. can be started from Kilmory in Aucheleffan Forest which is part of Arran. Kilmory is the nearest town or village.

Access is from the A841, one mile east of Kilmory. At the blue cycle signpost, take the track north for half a mile into the forest.

A good choice if you want to spend just a couple of hours in route but still want a full experience. Path is ok. Time to time there are nice views just good for a picnic break.
