Orange Cycle Trail

About Orange Cycle Trail

  • Suitable for expert downhill mountain bikers. This route leads over the top of Pitfichie Hill to the start of the downhill section. The finish is on the forest road.  Watch out for the very steep bit at the end!

    Gradient: steep with drop offs.

    Surface: mostly on rough narrow tracks with jumps and drop offs. Should be ridden west to east.

How to get there:

Orange Cycle Trail can be started from Pitfichie in Forests of Moray and Aberdeenshire. Monymusk and Kemnay are the nearest towns or villages.

Follow the B993 out of Monymusk towards Alford. After approximately two miles turn right at the sign for Whitehills Cycle Trails.

Follow this road for about half a mile to the car park.
