(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Carbisdale BLUE Grade Trail

With optional rock features, wonderful views and technical descents, such as "Goldie Rocks" and "Hissing Sid", this route is for intermediate mountain bikers.

It is a great introduction to the trails, and allows you to improve your skills to enable you to ride the more difficult red graded route.

Please note that Carbisdale Castle no longer does bike hire.

How to get there:

Carbisdale BLUE Grade Trail can be started from Carbisdale Mountain Bike Trails in Kyle of Sutherland Mountain Bike Trails which is part of Sutherland. Ardgay is the nearest town or village.

Take the train to Culrain Station.

Alternatively, drive north of Ardgay following signs for the Carbisdale Castle Youth Hostel.
