(Average user rating5 unrated 5/5)

About Blue Trail

Rogie Bridge will be closed for 4 weeks whilst a new bridge is erected, however trails remain open. (Updated 23rd May 2012)

This route runs from the Rogie Falls car park to the Forestry Commission car park at Contin.

From the car park, follow the blue waymarkers down through the birch trees to the suspension bridge over the Rogie Falls (note Highland Council recommend a maximum of 5 people on the bridge at any one time).

Cross the bridge and take the wide track which leads up to the forest road. Turn right along this road (indicated to Contin on a small metal sign) and follow this road through pine and spruce woodland as far as the Torrachilty Forest offices and the Contin car park.

How to get there:

Blue Trail can be started from Rogie Falls in Torrachilty Forest. Contin is the nearest town or village.

From Contin, take the A835 road west heading for Ullapool, for approximately two miles.

You will see the sign for the Rogie Falls car park beside the road. The car park is on the east side of the A835.
