This small loop offers the walker glimpses of the 'Kettle Hole Lochs' which are part of this amazing geological area.

How to get there:

Blue trail can be started from Littlemill in Littlemill. Inverairnie Village is the nearest town or village.

The car park is three miles from the A9 along the B851 Fort Augustus Road.

Mammals: We have information about Red squirrel and Roe deer

Habitats: The forest contains a number of kettle hole Lochs and other bogland area. This is a good location for wildlife watching! We have information about Lowland bog
