About Green

This trail goes past the pond and along a forest road before popping into the forest. This trail meanders through the forest until it opens up with some great views of the village of Strathpeffer.

Take time on this trail to enjoy the Stone Maze which is made up of 81 different stone types from all over the Highlands and Islands. There are intrepretation boards to help you enjoy this unique feature.

The trail goes from the maze up to a forest road which is followed until it re-joins the Red trail and the carpark.

How to get there:

Green can be started from Pond Carpark in Blackmuir Wood. Strathpeffer is the nearest town or village.

The Pond car park is signposted on the north west edge of Strathpeffer village.
