About Short Walk

This shorter walk climbs up to a stunning viewpoint where vistas unfold towards the town of Moffat, famous for its wool and toffee.

How to get there:

Short Walk can be started from Craigieburn Forest Car Park in Craigieburn Forest which is part of Forests of the Southern Uplands. Moffat is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A708, Moffat to Selkirk road. The car park is signposted three miles out of Moffat.

The nearest train station is in Lockerbie.
