no phone numbers that work at weekends, no updates on cycle routes at easter, no pdf brochure for the visitors centre

J. Taylor, 7/Apr/2012

There is always a duty phone number available as are each of the three visitor centre numbers all of which are widely published. All the 7stanes cycle route information is updated regularly and was for Easter. Occasionally an incident or operation gets through the system and a small section of the 1300miles of forest road in Galloway Forest Park is affected with out the tourism team knowing and we apologise for this. We are also working on a new leaflet for the new visitor centres which will come on line next year with the new centres. Until then we will not have any visitor centre information in printed form for our visitors, which is far from ideal but necessary due to resource constraints.
