An Darach Ruadadh

(Average user rating5 unrated 5/5)

About An Darach Ruadadh

A tranquil walk through mature oak trees which have been managed to produce timber in the past.

Drop down to the River Lochy where the waterfalls are very impressive after heavy rain or a thaw of snow.

How to get there:

An Darach Ruadadh can be started from Strone Hill Car Park in Strone which is part of Glen Orchy and Glen Lochy. Dalmally (3 miles) and Tyndrum (12 miles) is the nearest town or village.

Take the A85(T) three miles east from Dalmally up hill, to a car park road signposted on the right side of the A85(T) road.

If travelling from Tyndrum through Glen Lochy, the entrance is on your left.
