About Kirnashie Walk
This trail incorporates a section of the Kintyre Way - the long distance walking route.
The walk links in to the car parks at Port-na-storm and Grianan and to the Network Centre.
The climb to the summit of Cnoc-nan Ghabar leads you to great views of Carradale Glen with its meandering river and green fields and to views out across the beautiful Carradale Bay.
How to get there:
Kirnashie Walk can be started from Port na storm car park in Cnoc nan Ghabar which is part of Carradale. Carradale is the nearest town or village.
Travel along the B842 from Campbeltown or Kennacraig to Carradale. Then follow the B879 towards the harbour.
Port na storm is about one mile along this road on the left.

Birds: Eider ducks are commonly seen from the shore here. We have information about Golden eagle and Black grouse
Insects and reptiles: We have information about Adder
