About Stronafyne Loop

The Stronafyne Loop starts near Arrochar post office. The Loop is a short circular walk, taking in a spectacular view of Ben Arthur (The Cobbler).

The walk starts with a moderate climb to the viewpoint then returns to the head of Loch Long with a gradual descent through woodland and a riverside track.

How to get there:

Stronafyne Loop can be started from Arrochar in Arrochar which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.

Follow the M8 through Glasgow, onto the A82. Continue to follow the A82 along the shores of Loch Lomond. Then follow the A83 to Arrochar.
