First time at FTD. Ended up by accident starting half way into the course by the railway crossing and parking there. After a bit of a long uphill, it opened out in to a nice twisty singletrack and from then in got more enjoyable. Had the place to myself on a sunny but frosty Thursday afternoon. I liked the mix of fast singletrack, rocks and roots, berms and small jumps. Its not that technical until you get to some of the deeper trails further into the forest which do require you to keep an eye on your bar width so you dont catch em on a tree but that just adds to the enjoyment. Also staff at the Swinnerton Bike shop there were nice and friendly too when I stopped for a sandwich and a drink. Cant wait to ride it again. Highly recommended.
