Yellow Trail

(Average user rating3 unrated 3/5)

About Yellow Trail

The Yellow Trail is an attractive walk full of art pieces and activities. It loops past the climbing wall and around the stone farm animals, before giving you the chance to have a go at a brick maze! The route then passes a viewpoint and the mining charm bracelet before heading around the middle of the site where you can enjoy views of wild flowers and trees. Look out for information panels and benches to enjoy the views from as you return in a loop to the site entrance. Check out the information board at the entrance to see about up-coming events.

How to get there:

Yellow Trail can be started from Barrowfield Road Entrance in Phoenix Park, incorporating Thunscoe Community Woodland. Thunscoe is the nearest town or village.

From the A635, between Billingley and Hickleton, turn onto Barrowfield Road at the big roundabout (big Portwest Clothing warehouse on roundabout). Car park is 300 yards on the right.

waymarkers were confusing and a board with a map of the walks are needed otherwise not bad at all!
