About Blue Trail

The Blue Trail is a 2 mile walk exploring the hidden oasis that is Phoenix Park. The trail leads you through the low level areas of the site up to the woodland and grassland habitats that are home to a rich diversity of wildlife. From the top of the hill you can take a well earned rest and take in the breathtaking views across South Yorkshire

How to get there:

Blue Trail can be started from Barrowfield Road Entrance in Phoenix Park, incorporating Thunscoe Community Woodland. Thunscoe is the nearest town or village.

From the A635, between Billingley and Hickleton, turn onto Barrowfield Road at the big roundabout (big Portwest Clothing warehouse on roundabout). Car park is 300 yards on the right.
