About Warksburn Green Trail

The green trail crosses the footbridge close to the picnic area. This takes you on to a short loop, through some shady Norway Spruce and old Scots Pine. At the forest road intersection, watch out for the the waymarker posts to keep you on the right track. The trail then loops through the forest before bringing you back alongside the river.

How to get there:

Warksburn Green Trail can be started from Warksburn in Kielder which is part of Kielder. Stonehaugh is the nearest town or village.

Stonehaugh lies approx. 10 miles south-east of the village of Wark, which is situated on the main Hexham to Bellingham road.
