Lodge Walk

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Lodge Walk

The Lodge Walk gives easy access into this rich ancient woodland. The trail passes closes to the remnants of the 600 year old hunting lodge that sits in the centre of the medieval deer park.

How to get there:

Lodge Walk can be started from Wakerley Wood Car park in Wakerley Great Wood which is part of Rockingham Forest. Stamford is the nearest town or village.

Wakerley Great Wood is accessed from the A43, approximately 9 miles east of Corby, and 6 miles south west of Stamford. Follow the minor road off the A43 towards Wakerley village, and the car park is on the left.

Active woods

What's of interest

The Lodge Walk gives easy access into the wood, but the ground is uneven over short stretches making it a little rough for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
