About Warren Boulder Cycle Trail

For safety reasons cyclists using the unofficial cleared lines in Norwood Edge please access the forest from Stainburn Moor car park.

A short but challenging route. Narrow single track, rocky trails with varied surfaces passing through remote forest. Some very steep climbs, descents and technical obstacles and north shore sections needing a high level of technical ability. Experienced, excellent bike handling skills and a high level of fitness required. Part of the route is man made by volunteers from Singletraction, the rest has been built with funding from the North Yorkshire Aggregate Grant Scheme. Trail Waymarking: Black arrows on square discs.

 

 

How to get there:

Warren Boulder Cycle Trail can be started from Norwood Edge Car Park in Stainburn Forest. Beckwithshaw is the nearest town or village.

From the A59 take the B6451 towards Otley. Pass through Bland Hill and the car park is 2km further on your right.

Awesome spot. Black is super technical and a good challenge. Disagree with the northshore being easy in the wet - it is ridable, but super easy to slide/slime off it. Top fun :)

The black route at stainburn forest is hard as nails. But it is fun though

Awesome spot.. steep, technical and loads of fun.. did 6 laps and loved every one of them
