About New Forest Cycle Network
Exploring this truly ancient Forest by bicycle is the ideal way to discover the magnificent beauty and fascinating wildlife that can be missed by car.
To help protect this unique environment and improve visitor enjoyment an off-road and road-based cycle network has been created. The network links the main New Forest villages with the railway station at Brockenhurst, by the safest and most attractive routes.
From Bolderwood you can cycle along the main linking routes to Burley, 5 miles away, or Minstead 4 miles away. Alternatively, why not explore the network of over 100 miles of waymarked routes.
How to get there:
New Forest Cycle Network can be started from Bolderwood in New Forest. Emery Down and Lyndhurst are the nearest towns or villages.
By Car
Bolderwood is located 2 miles north-west of Emery Down, which is off the A35 just west of Lyndhurst.
By Bike
Cycle on 4 mile waymarked route from Burley. Or cycle along the Rinefield and Bolderwood Ornamental drive from Brockenhurst.
