About Symonds Yat Rock to Biblins

Following the Wye Valley Walk for part of its length and crossing the Biblins suspension bridge, this is only possible as a loop when the river levels permit running of the Saracens Head ferry - Tel 01600 890435. NB No public facilities at Biblins Campsite.

How to get there:

Symonds Yat Rock to Biblins can be started from Biblins in Wye Valley Woods which is part of Wye Valley. Whitchurch is the nearest town or village.

The easiest way to get to Biblins is to walk from Symonds Yat East where there is ample parking along the riverbank and across the suspension bridge. Other trails lead to the site (see above).

Did this walk today. Glorious September sunshine, exotic butterflies, blackberries (yum) and stunning river scenery. The only negative: Pay & Display parking machines will only accept coins (not cards or notes) and do not give change. There is nowhere else to park. If you don't have enough coins you are stuffed.

We happened on this walk when we went to Symonds Yat last week. We did the walk, following the posts but wanted to know more, so came to this web site. Disappointed to see I can't download it (unlike National Trust trails) but have to send ■1.75 to the office - no address given! What a shame, the route was great, might've tried the monmouth trip if I'd been able to download it!
