About Speech House Lake Trail
After looking around the Cyril Hart arboretum why not venture further into the forest by following this level trail that takes you on a gentle stroll to the secluded Speech House Lake. Here you can rest a while and watch the wildlife before following the Spruce Ride back up to the arboretum.
Speech House Lake is leased to Yorkley Angling Club for fishing, day tickets are available from the bailiff at the bankside. Please keep dogs under control and out of the water when fishermen are present.
How to get there:
Speech House Lake Trail can be started from The Cyril Hart Arboretum in Forest Of Dean. Coleford is the nearest town or village.
Situated on the B4226 Coleford to Cinderford road close to the Speech House.
