Green Walk

(Average user rating3 unrated 3/5)

About Green Walk

The Green Walk takes the visitor into the forest through a mix of mature and young plantations. The wide grassed track passing through the avenue of limes and past the toilet facilities is part of the old carriage drive that led to Lynford Hall. Visitors wishing to extend their stay can make a longer walk by heading north along this route to Lynford Lakes, then returning by the same path.

How to get there:

Green Walk can be started from Lynford Stag in Thetford Forest Park. Lynford is the nearest town or village.

Take the A134 Thetford to Mundford road.

Approximately half a mile after the Lynford cross roads turn right, signposted Lynford Stag picnic site.

Nice routes with not too much close planted pine. Nice avenues but no other views. Does not take anything near an hour!
