About Green Walk - Easy Access

The Lakes are still dry. It is currently being investigated by the environment agency as to why, I will try and keep you informed on their findings.

Nicky, can you tell me why the lakes are almost dry.Is there some work planned or is there a serious leak somewhere upstream ?

A very enjoyable walk. The Arboretum is well worth a visit. Unfortunately the visit was spoiled by a lack of facilities. No toilets: no food : lack of signs at start of walk.

What's of interest

Most of the waymarked walks throughout Thetford Forest Park are suitable for wheelchair access and pushchairs. Some tracks are quite sandy in places and may become waterlogged after prolonged periods of rain. You can also view a printable version of the map online. Why not download a copy before you visit?
