(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Yellow Walk

The Yellow Walk provides a pleasant amble through mature pine plantations and mature stands of oak. The Peddars Way, an old Roman road connecting the North Norfolk coast with the heart of East Anglia, offers scope for the more adventurous walker.

How to get there:

Yellow Walk can be started from Great Hockham in Thetford Forest Park. Great Hockham is the nearest town or village.

Take the A1075 Thetford to Watton road.

Great Hockham picnic site is on the left hand side.

What's of interest

Most of the waymarked walks throughout Thetford Forest Park are suitable for wheelchair access and pushchairs. Some tracks are quite sandy in places and may become waterlogged after prolonged periods of rain. You can also view a printable version of the map online. Why not download a copy before you visit?
