About Bignall's and Jaguar Lount Woods Horse Route

This circular horse route takes you through the new community woodlands of Bignall's and Jaguar Lount Woods as well as the existing Dog Kennel Wood from the old Staunton Harold Estate. The route is waymarked with the white horseshoe on a green background.  The route is closed from October to March due to the wet nature of the ground.

How to get there:

Bignall's and Jaguar Lount Woods Horse Route can be started from Staunton Harold Garden Centre Car Park in Bignall's Wood which is part of The National Forest. Lount is the nearest town or village.

By road: Take the B587 and follow signs to the Ferrers Centre.
