Callywith Wood Walk

Follow this trail and you will be taken on a stroll along good tracks with gradual slopes. About half way around the walk you arrive at a view point from where you can see up the valley of Cardinham Water to its source on Bodmin Moor.
Download a trail map from the link on the right.

How to get there:

Callywith Wood Walk can be started from Cardinham Car Park in Cardinham. Bodmin and Fletchers Bridge are the nearest towns or villages.

From Bodmin take the A38 towards Liskeard. 400 metres beyond the Carminnow Cross roundabout follow the brown tourist signs left and then left again into Cardinham Woods.

OS Grid Reference: SX100667

Mammals: This walk takes you past the Callywith Wood Wildlife Research Area. Within this special area we are carrying out a long term research project to help conserve the dormouse.
