About Callywith Wood Walk

Follow this trail and you will be taken on a stroll along good tracks with gradual slopes. About half way around the walk you arrive at a view point from where you can see up the valley of Cardinham Water to its source on Bodmin Moor.

Callywith Wood Walk can be started from Cardinham in Cardinham. Bodmin and Cardinham are the nearest towns or villages.

Mammals: This walk takes you past the Callywith Wood Wildlife Research Area. Within this special area we are carrying out a long term research project to help conserve the dormouse.
