About Skyline

The longest single serving, all weather trail in Britain. High level, highly technical singletrack riding. Not to be treated lightly. Only recommended for experienced, fit riders.

NB: Please consult 'Mountain Biking Trail Guide' before starting this trail to make sure this trail is right for your level of experience and fitness.

Trails can become slippery due to adverse weather conditions. Please take extra care when in the forest. Suitable footwear should be worn at all times.
 

How to get there:

Skyline can be started from Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre in Afan Forest Park which is part of Afan Forest Park. Glyncorrwg, Port Talbot, Neath, and Swansea are the nearest towns or villages.

A4107 from Jct 40 on the M4 Glyncorrwg signed from Cymer about 10 miles along the A4107 sharp left turn towards Glyncorrwg.

open - 6/2/12 Road side clearance work will be ongoing on the airstream section of the Skyline trail from post 36 to post 39. Machines will be operating on the road for two weeks but the trail remains open. Please respect all warning and advisory notices posted in the area.
