Argoed Walk - Green Walk (closed)

About Argoed Walk - Green Walk

Explore the small valley of the Nant Cynon as you wind your way on mossy trails and climb through woodlands of Birch, Oak, Ash and Alder that beautifully mask the old industrial scars of the valley. The sound of water is never far away on this trail, whether it is the trickling of the many small gullies that drain through the trees or the energetic bubbling of the Nant Cynon that shepherds you back toward the centre.

How to get there:

Argoed Walk - Green Walk can be started from Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre in Afan Forest Park which is part of Afan Forest Park. Cynonville and Neath are the nearest towns or villages.

Situated on the A4107 - follow the road from the M4, Junction 40 for about 6 miles. Look out for the signs for Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre.
