Wern Walk
 

THE TRAIL WILL CLOSE TO THE PUBLIC FROM 17 SEPTEMBER 2007 TO FEBRUARY 2008 INCLUSIVE. The Wern Walk winds North past the Adventure playground and ruins of Wern Farm, along forest walks and rises steeply to the forest road. There are good views

How to get there:

Wern Walk can be started from Garwnant Visitor Centre in Coed Taf Fawr which is part of Brecon Beacons National Park Forests. Merthyr Tydfil is the nearest town or village.

Garwnant is situated just off the A470 5 miles north of Merthyr Tydfil. It is well sign posted from the A470., It can be found on OS Landranger Map 160 and Outdoor Leisure 12., Public Transport is provided by Stagecoach 0870 6082608. There is also a Beacons Bus Service which runs on Bank Holidays and Sundays throughout the summer -Tel. 01873 853254
