Rowan

About Rowan

The Rowan trail is designed to be suitable for "First Timers". Having warmed up on the Bike Park, The Rowan Trail leads riders up a broad single track climb to where the trails split. Descent flows down a series of berms and open turns, humps and bumps. It can be ridden fast or slow. It descends to finish below the Bike Park either exit to the car park, or go again on another run.

How to get there:

Rowan can be started from Garwnant Visitor Centre in Coed Taf Fawr which is part of Brecon Beacons National Park Forests. Merthyr Tydfil is the nearest town or village.

Garwnant is situated just off the A470 5 miles north of Merthyr Tydfil. It is well sign posted from the A470.

It can be found on OS Landranger Map 160 and Outdoor Leisure 12.

Public Transport is provided by Stagecoach 0870 6082608. There is also a Beacons Bus Service which runs on Bank Holidays and Sundays throughout the summer -Tel. 01873 853254
