About Yr Afon
The Brash bailing machine will be working the forest road sides in a variety of locations throughout Coed y Brenin. Please obey all signage and ensure operator has seen you before attempting to pass. This will affect both bike routes and walking trails.
A route suitable for the whole family - no technical singletrack sections. Based on forest roads and contouring the hillsides taking in the magnificent waterfalls on the Gain and Mawddach.
How to get there:
Yr Afon can be started from Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre in Coed y Brenin. Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.
East off the A470, 8 miles North of Dolgellau just North of Ganllwyd, South of Trawsfynydd. Follow the brown tourist signs.
