Mawddach Goldrush MtB Challenge

About Mawddach Goldrush MtB Challenge

50k Mountain Bike Challenge, based on the Tarw Trail (3 laps), with several unusual "twists" and plenty of single track! At registration, every rider will have the opportunity to ’stake a claim’ on a map so all entrants have the chance to win the mystery "Goldrush" bounty. Event organised by the Mawddach Rotary club with the help of VLA Events, UK Results and TriCoaching UK. All profits raised will be donated to the Institute of Cancer Research, the Air Ambulance and other local Rotary good causes.

How to get there:

Mawddach Goldrush MtB Challenge starts at Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre in Coed y Brenin. Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, Blaenau Ffestiniog, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.

Coed y Brenin is situated 8 miles North of Dolgellau, Gwynedd on the A470 in the south of the Snowdonia National Park.
