About Afon Eden Riverside Trail

A series of MP3 based audio trails are available to download now, for free, just click on the link on the right hand side of the page.

An easy walk down to the Afon Eden picnic site from the visitor centre. The path to the picnic site is built to all-ability standards (blue waymarkers) and a slightly steeper push chair friendly family walk (yellow waymarkers)continues alongside the river looping back to the centre.

Braille versions of the walking pack are available and can be obtained from the Visitor Centre

How to get there:

Afon Eden Riverside Trail can be started from Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre in Coed y Brenin. Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, Blaenau Ffestiniog, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.

East off the A470, 8 miles North of Dolgellau just North of Ganllwyd, South of Trawsfynydd. Follow the brown tourist signs.
