(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Leny Wood Viewpoint Walk

This short, steep path quickly leads walkers high above Leny Pass with views over the ancient oakwoods towards Callander and the Menteith hills beyond. Please return by the same route.

This trail is currently closed to allow harvesting of trees in the area. This is not expected to be completed before March 2012 (Updated 25th January 2012).

How to get there:

Leny Wood Viewpoint Walk can be started from Pass of Leny in Strathyre Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Callander, Kilmahog, and Strathyre are the nearest towns or villages.

This car park is currently closed to allow harvesting operations to take place.

From Callander follow the A84 via Kilmahog. The car park entrance is signposted on the right hand side of the main road a mile beyond Kilmahog.
