About Kinlochard bay walk

This route gives you a flavour of the variety that exists in a productive forest. Young and old mixed conifer, regenerating and expanding native woodland and superb views of Loch Ard, the forest and the surrounding hills.

The path is firm, but in places narrow.

How to get there:

Kinlochard bay walk can be started from Kinlochard in Loch Ard Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.

From Aberfoyle, follow the B829 along the north side of Loch Ard to Kinlochard.
